COVID Surge Affecting Avita Emergency Rooms

BUCYRUS/GALION/ONTARIO – Avita Health System has announced that it is experiencing a surge of COVID-19 patients, causing long emergency room wait times and record high hospitalizations. Avita Offers Moderna COVID-19 Booster Shots

BUCYRUS/GALION/ONTARIO – Avita Health System announced that they are providing Moderna COVID-19 booster shots for individuals 18 years of age and older at Galion and Ontario Hospitals. Avita’s booster shot clinics opened Nov. 8 and will continue based on the needs of the community. Avita Increases Access to Monoclonal Antibody Infusion Therapy

BUCYRUS/GALION/ONTARIO – Avita Health System has increased patient access to monoclonal antibody infusion therapy at Galion Hospital. Avita Expands Access to COVID-19 Testing

BUCYRUS/GALION/ONTARIO – Avita Health System announced that they have expanded access to COVID-19 testing in response to the recent surge of cases in the community. Avita increased the days and hours of operation for hospital testing sites and is now offering free self-tests. Avita Changes Visitor Policy Due to Community Surge of COVID-19

BUCYRUS/GALION/ONTARIO – Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, Avita Health System announced new visitor restrictions, effective Wednesday, Sept. 1. One visitor per day will be permitted for patients in emergency, inpatient (medical/surgical & ICU), outpatient, and surgery departments. Two visitors per day will be permitted for maternity patients and children under Avita Changes Visitor Policy Due to Community Surge of COVID-19
