Avita Plans Comprehensive Cancer Center

BUCYRUS/GALION/ONTARIO – Avita Health System is working on plans for a comprehensive cancer center in Ontario to open in late fall of 2025.    Senator Mark Romanchuk recently announced that Avita Health System was a recipient of a grant through the One-Time Strategic Community Investment Fund (OTSCIF) that is investing millions into the district’s projects. Avita Ontario Hospital is First Stop on State-Wide SOAR Study Tour

Harm Reduction Vending Machines Now at Bucyrus and Galion Hospitals

BUCYRUS/GALION – Crawford County Public Health has partnered with Avita Health System to provide harm reduction vending machines outside the emergency department entrances at Bucyrus and Galion Hospitals. These machines provide free, easily accessible life-saving tools and disease prevention supplies. They are stocked with naloxone (Narcan® or Kloxxado®), fentanyl test strips, at-home COVID-19 test kits, Harm Reduction Vending Machines Now at Bucyrus and Galion Hospitals
