GALION – October 5, 2016 – Todd Darmody, MD, Endocrinologist, has joined Avita Health System and specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the glands. Fellowship-trained in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, Dr. Darmody is now accepting patients at 270 Portland Way South in Galion.
ONTARIO – September 8, 2016 – Avita Health System continues to expand pediatrics with the addition of Cheryl Clay, MD. Dr. Clay is now accepting patients from birth to 18 years of age, and joins the medical office of Dr. Charles Shaw at Avita Ontario.
BUCYRUS – September 16, 2016 – Dr. Ryan Hohman, Avita Health System Pediatrician, has partnered with the Reach Out and Read program, a non-profit organization that provides developmentally-appropriate books to over 4.5 million families annually. To date, Dr. Hohman has provided over 1,100 books to children ages six months through five years at their regular pediatric check-ups. Dr. Hohman’s medical office is located at Bucyrus Hospital.

Join Galion Graders fans at the ball field on Saturday, July 2, as the Graders take on the Grand Lake Mariners and host the second annual Avita Day. Fans will enjoy baseball, activities between innings, giveaways, and more. Avita partners with the Galion Graders and provides athletic trainers to care for the collegiate athletes on and off the field through the Avita Center for Sports Health. The game will begin at 7:05 pm at Heise Park in Galion.
