Stock the Squads Holiday Food Drive
This season, Avita Health System in partnership with Fenix EMS, Springfield Township FD, Galion FD, Crestline FD, Bucyrus FD, and Mansfield FD are coming together to help support families in our community who are facing food insecurity. We’re launching our Stock the Squads food drive across all Avita hospitals and 385 North Selzer in Crestline!
Our goal: Collect enough food to fill an ambulance—symbolically “stocking the squads” to support our neighbors in need.
Donation bins are located at the main entrances of each hospital, 385 North Selzer Crestline, and Springfield Township, Galion, Crestline, Bucyrus, and Mansfield fire departments.
We will be collecting donations through Christmas. All donations will benefit local food pantries. If you run a food pantry in Galion, Bucyrus, Ontario, Mansfield, or Crestline and are interested in receiving donated items but are not currently listed on the First Call 211 as a food pantry please reach out to Chris Adler cadler@avitahs.org or Nick Cline ncline11@avitahs.org
Many local families rely on food assistance, and together we can make a meaningful difference. Whether you drop off a can of soup, a box of pasta, or a bag of rice, every donation counts.
