American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS Instructor Classes

BLS Thursday, May 14th • 08:00am – 12:00pm
ACLS Thursday, May 14th • 12:00pm – 4:00pm
PALS Thursday, June 11th • 08:00am – 12:00pm
Invoice payment deadline for BLS & ACLS Tuesday, April 14.
Invoice payment deadline for PALS Thursday, May 7.
Classes are limited to 14 seats per session.
Costs are listed on the registration form below. Once your form has been submitted, an invoice will be sent. If a business is paying your invoice, make sure you have the business listed in the appropriate
spot on the form so the invoice is made out to the business.
Instructor Certification cost is mandatory. Manual and/or Instructor packages can be ordered through Avita Health System or on your own through shopcpr.heart.org.
You will be invoiced for class (Instructor Certification cost) and supply items requested. Invoices must be paid in full before your supplies/online essentials courses are ordered. See above deadlines.
Location
BLS & ACLS Classes will be held at Avita Bucyrus Hospital in the 3rd floor classroom. PALS Class will be held at Avita Bucyrus Hospital in the 2nd floor classroom. Class will consist of lecture, skills evaluation,
and testing.
Class Prerequisites
- Current provider card in each discipline you wish to obtain instructor status (BLS card is sufficient for Heartsaver).
- Online Instructor Essentials completed before arriving for class (this will be ordered and assigned to you by us).
- Current (2025) Instructor manual for each discipline you wish to obtain instructor status. Must be brought to class when you arrive (this can be ordered by us or obtained on your own).
- You have an agreement with a Training Center to accept you as an instructor. If you intend to align with us let us know and we will set up a call with the TCC. If aligning with another Training Center, you must submit your signed agreement with that training center or a letter signed by their TCC.
