One of the most memorable times in a woman’s life can be during the birth of her baby. The Birth Place, or Obstetrics Unit, has private patient rooms and performs obstetrical/neonatal services, labor and delivery, nursery services and mom and baby care before and after the baby’s birth. The unit focuses on family-centered support, care and education for the mother, her newborn and the family unit. The unit has birthing suites equipped for vaginal deliveries and OR suites for C-section deliveries. We are fully equipped to provide resuscitation of the neonate, fetal monitoring and antepartum care and monitoring. The latest pain management options, such as epidurals, are available upon request.
